Qinghua International Trade Dev. Corp. was established in the early 1990’s. In 1992 the company was designated by Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. as the exclusive agent across the Canadian market for the distribution of Tsingtao Beer.

Tsingtao Beer has been sold in the Canadian market since the middle of 1970’s. The sales volume has steadily increased in the last 20 years. Taking the advantage of traditional brewing techniques and experiences gained over more than a century, Tsingtao Beer has always been one of the premium beers in the world. During the past 60 years Tsingtao Beer has been exported to more than 80 countries and regions. In Canada, it is distributed in all major cities as well as many towns and rural areas.

Tsingtao Beer, since Qinghua Corp. became the exclusive agent, is sold in a variety of packages including small bottles of 330ml, big bottles of 640ml and tall cans of 500ml. Tsingtao Beer is sold mainly by the liquor stores affiliated to the various Liquor Control Boards as well as some private liquor stores.

In addition to being the exclusive agent of Tsingtao Beer in Canada for more than two decades, Qinghua Corp. has assisted in the exportation of Canadian malting barley, one of the major beer ingredients, to Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. and other Chinese breweries and maltsters.
